Built-for-AI infrastructure

Purpose-built AI data centers—facilities optimized for high-density GPU compute, low-latency connectivity, and resilient power systems. These centers, combined with fiber routes and peering points, enable global connectivity and efficient AI training and inference workloads.  Alberta’s growing renewable and low-emission electricity supply provides a compelling advantage for companies aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of large-scale compute.  Access to affordable, reliable power is a critical factor for AI infrastructure economics.

Ecosystem and talent

*The province highlights incubators, universities, and innovation hubs that feed talent and research into the ecosystem.

*Collaboration between startups, enterprises, and academic institutions helps bridge research into applied solutions.

Global technology partners

Major global technology providers and regional leaders are partnering with Alberta’s ecosystem — bringing cloud services, enterprise solutions, and investments that accelerate AI adoption. These relationships help anchor the supply chain for compute, data services, and platform tooling.
